The newly devised state tourism policy imposes a sustainable development fund of USD 100 per person per night, alongside a visa processing fee of USD 40 per individual. Bhutan may not be a typical honeymoon destination for Koreans, and my friends were initially skeptical. However, it was the perfect decision. Bhutan’s cleanliness, beauty, and tranquility felt like stepping back in time, especially coming from busy Seoul.
