2. Booking and Payments

2.1 Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed upon receipt of the booking request and deposit.

4. Travel Insurance

4.1 We recommend that travelers purchase travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal liability.
4.2 Happy Travel Company Bhutan will not be held responsible for loss, damage, or injury during the trip.

5. Travel Documents and Visa

5.1 All travelers must hold a valid passport with at least six months’ validity from the entry date.
5.2 Bhutan requires travelers to obtain a visa, which we can assist in processing.
5.3 Visa issuance is subject to approval by the Royal Government of Bhutan, and processing may take up to 15 – 60 Days.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they are physically fit for the tour activities.
6.2 Medical consultation is recommended for travelers planning physical activities such as trekking.
6.3 Travelers must follow all local health and safety regulations. In case of emergencies, the client is responsible for all medical expenses.

7. Responsibilities and Liabilities

7.1 Happy Travel Company Bhutan acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (e.g., hotels, transport services). We are not liable for service failures by third-party providers.
7.2 We will not be responsible for disruptions, delays, or cancellations caused by natural disasters, government actions, or other unforeseen events.
7.3 Travelers are responsible for their belongings. We will not be liable for any theft, loss, or damage to personal items during the tour.

8. Code of Conduct

8.1 Travelers must respect local customs, traditions, and environmental guidelines.
8.2 Inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.
8.3 Bhutan promotes sustainable tourism. Travelers are encouraged to minimize their environmental impact.

9. Force Majeure

9.1 We are not responsible for changes or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or political instability.
9.2 In such cases, we will do our best to provide an alternative arrangement, but additional costs may apply.

10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

10.1 Any disputes related to these Terms and Conditions will first be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, the matter will be referred to arbitration in Bhutan.
10.2 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Bhutan.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
